"Moorland Dawn" Oil on canvas

Early autumnal morning on a deserted moorland in the Scottish Borders. The first rays of sunlight burst with new found hope onto a golden promise of a brand new day. No longer matter the threatening clouds and unsettling storms of yesterday.  Sunlight gleams and sparkles across the damp earth, drawing up a faint mist from the earth.

This day begins anew while optimisim reigns supreme....
